- Uploaded images, including your photo and, where supported, a hairstyle reference image. These images may include facial, hair, and appearance-related information.
- Generated results created through the Service. Retention period: up to 7 days after generation.
- Usage information, such as selected hairstyle options, uploaded image status, generation history, feature interactions, pages viewed, and error events.
- Device and technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location, referring pages, log data, cookies, and similar technologies.
- Payment information: the current service does not offer paid plans, credit purchases, or subscriptions, so no payment information is collected.
- Support information: the current service does not offer an in-product support channel, so no support records are collected.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide the AI hairstyle changing, generation, preview, and image processing features requested by you; process uploaded images and hairstyle reference images; operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Service; manage accounts, credits, subscriptions, payments, refunds, and customer support; detect abuse, prevent fraud, secure the Service, and troubleshoot technical issues; analyze website performance and feature usage; communicate service updates and policy changes; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Photo and AI Processing
Uploaded photos and generated images are used to provide the AI hairstyle preview or transformation requested by you.
We do not use the photos you upload or the results we generate to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Your images are sent to our AI provider only to create the preview you requested and are not used by us for any other purpose.
We do not use your uploaded photos for unrelated advertising purposes unless we obtain your consent.
Images are processed by AI model providers and cloud infrastructure providers that we need in order to operate the Service. The current service uses fal.ai to call the fal-ai/nano-banana-2/edit model, Vercel for website hosting and request handling, and Supabase for the database and the private image storage bucket. No other third-party image processing providers are used at this time.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website functional, remember preferences, understand traffic, measure performance, prevent abuse, and improve the Service. The anonymous prototype uses an HttpOnly cookie to keep your server-side credit balance and task history associated with the same browser. Credits are not stored as an authoritative value in local storage and are not tied to a named account.
Analytics, advertising, or tracking tools used by the website: none. The current service does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking tools. The only cookie we set is a first-party HttpOnly cookie used to associate your anonymous credit balance and task history with your browser.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
5. Third-Party Services
We share limited information only with the service providers needed to run the Service: fal.ai (AI image processing), Vercel (website hosting and request handling), and Supabase (database and private image storage). The current service does not use payment processors, analytics providers, authentication providers, email providers, or customer support providers.
These providers are authorized to process information only as needed to provide services to us or as required by law.
6. Payments
If AI Hairstyle offers paid features, credits, subscriptions, or one-time purchases, payment transactions may be handled by third-party payment processors. We may receive limited transaction information such as payment status, purchase amount, subscription status, invoice ID, and billing-related records.
Payment processor and billing data retention period: not applicable. The current service does not offer paid plans, credit purchases, or subscriptions, so no payment or billing data is collected.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.
- Uploaded photo and hairstyle reference image retention period: the files are stored in a private cloud storage bucket and sent to the AI model provider for processing. An automated cleanup job deletes the stored files after 72 hours.
- Generated result image retention period: the file is stored in a private cloud storage bucket and shown to you through a short-lived signed link that expires after about one hour. An automated cleanup job deletes the stored file after 7 days.
- Anonymous credit and task metadata retention period: task metadata is normally retained for 30 days, and anonymous credit records remain until deleted or cleaned by the operator.
- Administrator audit log retention period: up to 180 days. Audit entries record the operator action, a hashed (not readable) IP address, and related technical details, and are used only to prevent abuse and keep the Service secure.
- Payment and transaction record retention period: not applicable, because the current service does not offer paid features or collect payment data.
- Analytics data retention period: not applicable, because the current service does not use analytics tools.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using a secure device, protecting your account credentials, and only uploading images you have the right to use.
9. International Data Transfers
AI Hairstyle is intended for global users. Your information may be processed in countries or regions outside your place of residence.
Data storage and processing locations: requests are handled by Vercel serverless functions running in the United States, and the database and the private image storage bucket are provided by Supabase on our behalf.
Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your personal information; request a copy of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and opt out of certain data uses where applicable.
